I believe in the power of learning by doing.

Visible Thinking

Many of my teaching practices come from Harvard University's research in critical and creative thinking.  Specifically, I have learned with the guidance of Ron Ritchhart. You can learn more about this work HERE.

Growth Mindset

I have also read a lot about having a growth mindset vs. fixed mindset and promoting this culture in my classroom through the work of Carol Dweck.  You can learn more about her work on Growth Mindset HERE.
